Recently there was a new report in about some of the safest walkable neighborhoods in Florida. It turns our the safest and most walk able neighborhood can be found at Miami Beach. The Flamingo Park neighborhood located in Miami Beach ranked as be the state’s top walk able neighborhood according to a report from a real estate firm Redfin. Below is a list of the scores they assign and the meaning of each.

70–89 | Very Walkable Most errands can be accomplished on foot |
50–69 | Somewhat Walkable Some errands can be accomplished on foot |

Last week, they released the report about the most walk able homes in every state. Some of the criteria include the distance you need to walk for the usual amenities like shops, restaurants and other types of businesses. The town of Flamingo Park in Miami Beach came out on top. Lake Eola Park and downtown homes in Orlando came out in second spot of most walkable neighborhood.
rounding out the top 10 were Main Street located in Sarasota, St. Petersburg, South of fifth st in Miami Beach and down town Fort Lauderdale , Colee Hammock in Fort Lauderdale,
Other parts which completed the top ten are Flagler heights in Fort Lauderdale, City Center in Miami Beach, Rosemary District in Sarasota and the Colee hammock in Fort Lauderdale.
